WORKSHOP – HAUNTED WORLDS
Anne-Cécile Vandalem / DAS FRAULEIN (COMPANY) organizes a workshop for professional actors, performers, and dancers.
During this week of work, you will be invited to discover the company’s work around a research based on legacies and hauntings.
Actors are brought together for a creation. But as they investigate a death, their past comes back to haunt them. Investigation or creation? It will be about remaining lucid in all circumstances and catching a glimpse of those fragile yet vivid glimmers that haunt memories. To make oneself available to listen to ghosts and the traces of their hauntings.
Haunted Worlds is a new cycle that will depart from the complexity of reality, our deadlocks, and our blind spots, to journey towards new ways of populating the world.
This workshop is open to professional actors, performers, and dancers, regardless of their ethnic background, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, and religion, eager to discover the company’s work and to engage in collective research.
This workshop is part of FABULATOIRE, a research and development initiative developped in parallel with the Haunted Worlds creation cycle.

LANGUAGES
This workshop will be bilingual. Dutch-speaking and French-speaking actors are invited to work in their native language. We will communicate in English or French during the workshop.
CONDITIONS
Unpaid internship. Daily catering will be provided to all participants.
Be available from June 10th to 14th and from June 17th to 21st.
At the end of the first week of the workshop, some participants will be invited to continue the work during the second week, with members of the company. That second week will be paid.
